  • Albert H. Savelberg

    Managing Partner

    Albert is founding partner of SSC Consult. Since 1992, he has led corporate finance/M&A consulting engagements. Until 2002, Albert served as divisional head and Director/Senior Vice President in investment banking of Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie.

    Albert has managed numerous transactions of private companies, listed corporations, and financial investors in Germany, in other European countries, and in the USA. He has also successfully implemented a great number of privatizations at federal and Land level. In his function as member of the board of directors of an international technology company, he gained considerable operations experience.

    Albert holds an academic degree as Diplom-Kaufmann. After earning a vocational training certificate as Bankkaufmann, he completed studies in Business Economics in Aachen and Fribourg/Switzerland. He is a lecturer on venture capital and investment management at the International School of Management (ISM).

  • Artur Deichmann

    Managing Partner

    Artur is Managing Partner at SSC Consult and has worked in commercial as well as investment banking since 1990, before joining SSC Consult in 2009 as General Manager and Head of Corporate Finance of KBC Securities in Germany.

    After six years in commercial corporate banking at Sal. Oppenheim he was responsible for developing the privatisation sector. In 2000 he joined the extended management team of Merck Finck & Co. (KBC Group) heading its Corporate Finance business. He headed inter alia the development of M&A and privatisation advisory. Following the strategic restructuring of the KBC Group Artur was responsible for the reorganisation of corporate banking and the transference of the Corporate Finance activities to KBC Securities. As General Manager and EU branch manager he focused on cross border transactions.

    Artur holds an academic degree as Diplom-Kaufmann and after earning a vocational training certificate as Bankkaufmann studied Business Economics at the universities of Bonn and Cologne.

  • Dr. Guido Bohnenkamp

    Partner

    Guido has been a Partner at SSC Consult since 2012. Until 2011 he was Managing Director at bm-t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen gmbh and its managed funds, where he focused on companies in the fields of media technology, medical technology, automotive material science and engineering. Prior to this, he worked on strategic investments (AGIV, Fraport AG) and on purely financial participations (HypoVereinsbank Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie.). In total Guido has been instrumental in the successful implementation of more than 70 buy-side and sell-side transactions.

    Guido studied Business Economics in Germany and the USA. He holds a PhD for his thesis on “The role of private equity firms in the development of medium-sized companies” from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).

  • Prof. Dr. Jörg Schröder

    Partner

    Jörg has been partner at SSC Consult since 2018. His previous position was as Managing Director and Head of Equity Capital Markets at the IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG where he established – as he had done previously at HSBC Trinkaus & Burghardt – the Equity Capital Markets department. He held earlier positions at BNP Paribas in London and at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Frankfurt. Jörg has worked in the capital markets industry since 1999 and has successfully advised on over 50 transactions.
    His responsibilities include the acquisition, advisory, structuring and managing of debt transactions including bonds, promissory notes and private placements as well as equity transactions such as capital increases with and without subscription rights, equity linked products (e. g. convertible and exchangeable bonds) and IPOs for small and medium sized enterprises.
    Following his traineeship as a banker, Jörg studied economics at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster at which he also completed his doctorate. Jörg is Professor for Corporate Finance at the International School of Management (ISM) in Dortmund.
